The Benquet-born baller is a versatile defender with the skills to play anywhere in a back four, most recently lining up at right-back for Kaya’s AFC Champions League run. It was at Leo Stadium where he etched his name in the history books, scoring the winning goal in the playoff round against Shanghai Port FC. However, his true contributions came in the form of containing speedy wingers, bombing long passes, and bodying up opposing forwards—things he’s been proficient at since his high school days.
Menzi was a dominant force for FEU-Diliman’s Baby Tamaraws. Not only did he receive Rookie of the Year, Best Defender, and MVP honors, but his team went on to be crowned champions four years in a row. His winning ways continued upon entering university, helping bring FEU to the 2015 UAAP Title.
While remaining an active player for his university, Audie signed with Kaya in 2016. The defender played well during the final United Football League season—a semi-pro competition the club was in at the time. The formation of the fully professional Philippines Football League meant Menzi’s time at the club had to be put on hold to maintain his amature eligibility. He was temporarily demoted to the B-Team, and went on to complete his final college season.
Audie eventually returned to the first team in 2018, and has been a staple of Kaya’s defense ever since. He played a key role for the club in the first Copa Paulino Alcantara, and later continued to impress with his showing in the 2021 ACL Group stage.

Following Janrick Soriano’s retirement, Audie was given the task of filling the void at right-back and performed admirably. It remains to be seen where on the line he’ll be slotting into this season, but the 26 year-old can be counted on to continue making an impact like he did in the summer.
