Thank you from Kaya FC
This season has been an incredible journey that ended with Kaya FC winning the 2015 UFL Cup, taking our first piece of silverware since 2009, and qualifying for the 2016 AFC Cup play-off round. The moments and obstacles that we have been through over the past few years always led to new challenges and experiences that only made us hungrier and more determined to improve, dream bigger, and become more than what we were without losing heart, without losing hope. This season’s achievement is a culmination of everyone’s hard work, unquenchable fire, and unshakable commitment on and off the pitch—not just to the team and to one another, but also to themselves. Kaya FC could not have achieved this alone, and we would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude for everyone who has been with us throughout this season.
First of all, to the club owners who always want what is best for the club. Thank you to all our sponsors—LBC, Warren & Brown, Isuzu, and Gatorade—and our partners, LGR, Plana Forma, Peak Form, and Bootcamp. Once again, your support has been a great vote of confidence in what we do, and winning the 2015 UFL Cup is our way of giving back to you for always having our back. We sincerely appreciate your zeal and enthusiasm in supporting our efforts not just to make our club successful but also to promote and establish football in the country through our academy. It has been a pleasure working with all of you.
We also want to extend our deepest thanks to the academy parents and kids who would watch the games regularly and, of course, the fans, especially Ultras Kaya, for your unwavering passion and support. You have been with us in good times and in bad. To say you all are fantastic would be an understatement; you are undoubtedly the best football fans in the country! Thank you for believing in and dreaming with us. Whether we are winning or losing, we are honored that we can always share our moments with you. You are a part of the Kaya family.
Last but not the least, thank you to the players, coaches, staff, and Marc Castro, our team doctor. Our journey has been a roller-coaster ride, but we never give up, and we never give in. We always fight back, and the camaraderie forged us as a team and carried us through the setbacks, injuries, and disappointments. Hunger, heart, and humility are the key ingredients that have made us the 2015 UFL Cup champions, and we will continue to uphold these qualities as we face the challenges that await us. Let’s keep this momentum going forward and remember that your hard work, passion, and perseverance will always be a great source of inspiration and motivation for Kaya—always has, always will. Una Kaya!
