Statement on Louis Clark’s departure

Kaya Futbol Club would like to announce the departure of Louis Clark. He joined Kaya in September 2014, and after two seasons, he will now be playing for Singaporean team Tampines Rovers FC in the S.League.

During his first month at Kaya, Clark quickly made an impact when he scored three consecutive hat tricks in the FA League Cup, the United Football League’s (UFL’s) first tournament during the 2014–15 season. He demonstrated Kaya’s hunger and determination early on, and this continued for the past two years that he was with the club. He stood out as a Kaya player and will always be remembered.

As passionate as he was on the pitch, he also showed the same eagerness and enthusiasm off the pitch and as a coach at the academy, where he shined as well. He has always enjoyed coaching kids, and this was a responsibility he took on with zeal and diligence. Students and parents had grown to cherish the player who successfully managed to lead a team in the UFL Youth League for two seasons.

Everyone at the club would like to thank Louis Clark for his contributions to Kaya. We have seen him grow and develop into a distinguished professional footballer at the club and in the league, and we are thrilled with his progress as he embarks on this new chapter of his professional career in Singapore. He is leaving the club with our sincerest gratitude, and we wish him all the best.
