Kaya FC-Iloilo Partners Up with Phoenix Football Club Kaya FC have joined forces with the Camelo Tacusalme-founded club, strengthening the grassroots in Western Visayas.

Kaya FC–Iloilo is delighted to form an agreement with Camelo Tacusalme’s Phoenix FC to create a healthy and exciting football experience through knowledge and resource sharing.

The former National Team defender founded the club alongside several other notable names in Philippine football: including former Kaya mainstay Janrick Soriano, and former Azkals Development Team and Philippines U23 Head Coach Norman Fegidero. 

Established in March 2022, the Bacolod-based organization is a rising star in the region, with the men’s team having been crowned champions of the Men’s Open 7’s Football League this past July. 

The team’s main focus, however, is on youth development through the Phoenix FC Academy—and Kaya is all aboard to assist Camelo’s vision to spread the benefits of the beautiful game in the region.
