Nicolas Ferrer scored the early goal for Manila Jeepney, but Kaya answered back with goals from Tishan Hanley, Jovin Bedic, Christian Ayew, and Diego Barrera. Manila Jeepney ended the match with ten men as Arnel Amita was sent off in second half stoppage time.
Wednesday’s wins see the Sparks and Kaya FC go into a triple-tie with Global FC in second place. All three teams have 31 points apiece. Both Kaya and the Sparks are behind Global due to the latter holding a superior goal difference. Manila Jeepney and Pachanga remain in seventh and eight place, respectively.
