Jarvey Gayoso to Play Final Match with Kaya FC-Iloilo The King Eagle will take flight for Kaya one last time against Davao Aguilas-UMAK.

As Sunday’s match against Davao Aguilas-UMAK approaches, Kaya FC-Iloilo announces with bittersweet gratitude the departure of one of its most prolific talents, Jarvey Gayoso. This game, one of the most important of the season, will also mark the final appearance of a player who has made a significant impact on the club and its history.

Gayoso’s time at Kaya has been defined by his electrifying presence up top, known for his ability to turn the tides of matches with his dynamic runs and goal-scoring prowess. He first joined the club on loan from the Azkals Development Team for Iloilo’s inaugural AFC Champions League campaign in 2021. Although his initial stint was brief, the striker left a lasting impression on the squad, leading to his full transfer ahead of the 2022-23 Philippines Football League season.

Throughout his tenure, Jarvey accumulated a number of accolades and unforgettable moments. In his first full season, he narrowly missed out on the Golden Boot, finishing as the runner-up to Daizo Horikoshi. This season, he departs as the leading contender for the top scorer’s award with twenty-two goals to his name.

His record-breaking performance against Tuloy FC, where he scored seven goals in a single match, set a new PFL benchmark. Furthermore, his stunning goals on the biggest stage against AFC Champions League powerhouses Shandong Taishan FC and Yokohama F. Marinos have solidified his legacy with the club.

Kaya FC-Iloilo is immensely grateful for Jarvey’s dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment every time he donned the yellow and black. The club extends heartfelt thanks and best wishes for his future endeavors, and will always consider him a member of the Kaya family.

Join us this Sunday to celebrate the King Eagle’s remarkable journey and cheer him on in his final game with the club.
