Kaya FC-Iloilo is excited to announce the signings of Tamon Horikoshi (left), Milad Behgandom (center), and Dylan Nobiraki (right). Shoring up the roster following the team’s recent departures, it’s all systems go for Sunday’s home restart versus Dynamic Herb Cebu FC.

Tamon Horikoshi looks to follow in his older brother Daizo’s footsteps and explode onto the Philippine stage. The Kanagawa native last played for Japanese outfit Esperanza SC. A tidy technician with an impressive work rate and pace for days, the promising 23-year-old provides Iloilo both additional versatility and attacking firepower.

Supporters who were around in the UFL days may recognise Beghandom from his tenure with Global FC, where he wreaked havoc as a prolific striker. Fun fact: Milad was actually teammates with Kaya head coach Yu Hoshide, the pair winning two UFL titles together (2012 & 2014) at their former club.

He’s since plied his trade back home in the Iranian leagues, his last stop being third tier side Shahid Oraki Eslamshahr. Iloilo fans can look forward to the 33-year-old utilizing his wealth of experience, high degree of technical skill, and familiarity with the Philippine game to make an immediate impact on the team; giving the squad a boost for the ongoing PFL title race.

Last but not least, Dylan Nobiraki rounds up the list of Kaya’s 2023 reinforcements. The midfielder last suited up for the Niigata University of Health & Welfare. A rangy passer whose vision is matched by his defensive physicality, the 22-year-old brings a ton of promise to the middle of the pitch.

The three playmakers reinforce a recently depleted Kaya midfield, sliding right into the voids left behind by Ryo Fujii, Patrick Arthur, and Oskari Kekkonen. A blend of youth, experience, and the versatility needed to fill several positions of need—Kaya’s roster is all set for February 19’s Visayas Clasico.
